Alborado MR ~ PRE Andalusian Colt
Alborado MR is a 2007 grey colt out of Beatriz MR & by Navarre GF that will be tall like his sire and is a perfect candidate for dressage. He is a combination of rare bloodlines, both top & bottom, with a very sweet personality. He is handled daily and is UTD on worming and vacs.
His dam, Beatriz MR, was bred to Navarre GF, owned by Mike and Connie Connelly, at their Manor Hill Farm by them. “Bea” came to reside at HH Classical in the spring of 2007, and Bea foaled a healthy colt June 11 2007 with no complications and he was named Alborado. In 2008, they both, Beatriz & Alborado, came to reside at Rancho de los Brioso with Bea expecting another foal for 2009 by Tabaquero.
Regarding lineage, the Dam of Alborado, Beatriz MR, offers power in both her pedigree and her movement. Her sire came from the famous Urquijo Stud. Her pedigree consists of strong Terry and Military lines. Her dam came from the Yeguada Militar, and is the only daughter of Mejicano XIV---National Champion of Spain---in the United States. "Bea" is strong conformationally, with very round quarters and a soft, functional back. She is intelligent, bold, and very Spanish, with a fearless, yet trusting, nature. Her trot is powerful; her canter is soft and forward. Bea has wonderful dressage movement and is inscribed by the Cria Caballar.
The Sire of Alborado is Navarre GF; surely one of the most awesome horses ever produced in the United States, bred by Gremlan Farms. This 16.2+ hand, pitch black stallion is internationally admired and coveted by breeders from many different countries. He is the result of a dream breeding two U.S. National Champions - TEODORO who is an especially impressive bay stallion with extreme Spanish conformation, and much admired by the Spanish Commission who approved him for entry into the Spanish Stud Book; and *LADINA, a black foundation mare. NAVARRE GF was purchased by his owners while still 'in utero' which is the only way for one to acquire a horse of this quality! Amongst many honors in the show ring, he won the US National Champion Stallion title of 1997, and was many time 'Best Movement' winner. His fairly limited booking breeding career has resulted in extreme value for his foals.
